Personnel in ACES Technology Services (ATS) that support the administrative units of the college are part of the Office of Information Technology and Communication Services (ITCS). ACES Admin IT provides numerous services, ranging from desktop support to publications development, for faculty and staff of the College of ACES and University of Illinois Extension.

The ATS Admin IT team provides IT support to administration, staff, and current affiliates within the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES). We provide support for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, as well as a variety of desktop applications. We also provide services that are specific to the College of ACES, such as departmental email lists, college and departmental web hosting, network file storage, network management, and technology enabled learning classrooms (Academic Computing Facility (ACF)).

ATS Admin IT Help Desk
The main Help Desk is located in 47 Mumford Hall. The student attendants that answer the Help Desk support line are located in the ACES ACF and managed by ATS Admin IT team members. These trained and capable attendants act as a first line of support for the ATS Admin IT team. Their main function is to accurately and completely document client issues into our ticketing system. This facilitates a more consistent and timely response to your issues as well as helps the support team be more efficient as a whole. It is not the Help Desk attendants’ job to resolve every issue that comes to them. It is their responsibility to ask questions to fully document the issue(s) at hand. It is our intent to provide the highest quality service to you; we welcome any and all feedback.
Location & Hours of Operation
Our main office is located in 47 Mumford Hall, and our office hours are:
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Help Desk offers extended hours and operates during the same hours as the ACES ACF.
